Cottages and waterfront in Bluewater
Bluewater was created in 2001 from Hay and Stanley townships and the villages of Bayfield, Hensall and Zurich. Lake Huron forms its whole western edge. Bayfield is the draw, a small village with a tree-lined main street, a harbour at the river mouth and a mix of older cottages and newer homes. South of it, cottage roads branch off Highway 21 toward the bluff around St. Joseph and Drysdale. Zurich and Hensall are the inland farm towns.
