What Bayfield River is like
The Bayfield River starts just south of Dublin in Perth County and flows west past Clinton and Varna to Lake Huron at Bayfield. It forms the boundary between Bluewater and Central Huron for much of its lower length. The river and the village are both named for Henry Wolsey Bayfield, who surveyed the area in the early 1800s. Most interest for buyers is at the mouth, where the harbour and marinas sit below the village.
- Bayfield harbour
- Marinas at the river mouth
