Cottages and waterfront in Central Frontenac
Central Frontenac joined the townships of Hinchinbrooke, Kennebec, Olden and Oso in 1998. Highway 7 runs across the whole township, and Road 38 heads south from Sharbot Lake to Kingston. The village of Sharbot Lake is the hub, with a beach, shops and a medical centre. Cottage lakes include Sharbot, Crow, Eagle and Big Gull, plus the north tip of Bobs Lake. The K&P Rail Trail passes through.
