Cottages and waterfront in Stone Mills
Stone Mills was formed in 1998 from the Village of Newburgh and the townships of Camden and Sheffield. Tamworth, on the Salmon River, is the main village in the north. Beaver Lake at Erinsville is the best-known cottage lake, with two public parks, a beach and boat launches. Varty Lake near Yarker has a township park with a dock and launch. The Napanee River runs through Newburgh, Camden East and Yarker.
