What Saugeen River is like
The Saugeen is the main river of Grey and Bruce counties. It rises in Grey County and flows through Durham, past Hanover, and on through Walkerton and Paisley to Lake Huron at Southampton. It is best known for fishing and for a canoe route of about 102 km from Hanover to the lake, usually done over three days.
