What Berford Lake is like
Berford Lake is one of the larger inland lakes on the Bruce Peninsula, roughly 3.6 km long and 2.2 km wide. Its outlet is the Rankin River, which flows on through Isaac Lake and Boat Lake to the Sauble River and Lake Huron. Cottages and homes line roads such as Berford Park Road. With Wiarton only a few minutes away for groceries, fuel and the hospital, it is one of the more convenient cottage lakes in South Bruce Peninsula.
