What Sky Lake is like
Sky Lake is a quiet lake in the middle of the peninsula, draining through Albemarle Brook into the Rankin River system. It is known for fishing, with bass, pike, perch and pickerel, and for paddling and bird watching. Cottages are spread along the shore, and the setting is rural. The sand beach at Red Bay on Lake Huron is only a few minutes west, and Wiarton is the nearest town for shopping.
