Cottages and waterfront in Norland
Norland is in the former townships of Laxton, Digby and Longford, on the Canadian Shield. The Gull River flows through the village and over a dam into Shadow Lake. Head Lake is to the west. The lakes here are rockier and less busy than those on the Trent-Severn route to the south. Coboconk is the nearest larger village. Buyers here usually want a quieter, more northern feel without a longer drive.
