Cottages and waterfront in Coboconk
Coboconk is where the Gull River reaches Balsam Lake. South of the village are the big, open waters of Balsam, with two provincial parks on the north shore. To the north, the river leads up through Silver Lake to Shadow Lake, and Four Mile Lake is a few kilometres to the northeast. The village has groceries, fuel and a few shops, and Highway 35 makes for a direct drive.
