Little Britain is a farm village in the south of the city. It is not on a lake, but the north end of Lake Scugog is a short drive away, and waterfront listings in the surrounding area are often filed under this name. The drive from the Toronto area is among the shortest in Kawartha Lakes. Lindsay is close for hospital, shopping and schools. Oakwood and Valentia are neighbouring communities.
