Cottages and waterfront in Centre Hastings
Centre Hastings was formed in 1998 when the Village of Madoc joined Huntingdon Township. Madoc village has grocery stores, a hardware store and restaurants, which makes Moira Lake one of the easier lakes in the county to own on. The lake is just south of the village. South of the lake the land is mostly farms around Ivanhoe and Crookston. Belleville is a short drive down Highway 62.
