Cottages and waterfront in Tweed
The Municipality of Tweed joined the Village of Tweed with Hungerford Township and Elzevir and Grimsthorpe Townships in 1998. The village is the only urban centre and sits on the northwest shore of Stoco Lake, so you can own waterfront and still walk to shops. About 30 percent of the municipality is Crown land, most of it in the north. The Black River meets the Moira River near the village.
