Cottages and waterfront in Marmora and Lake
The village of Marmora sits on Highway 7 beside the Crowe River and Beaver Creek. Crowe Lake, just west of the village, is the main cottage lake and is lined with cottages, year-round homes and trailer parks. The municipality runs far north into Shield country, where smaller lakes and hunting properties take over. Marmora has a long mining history, and the flooded Marmoraton open pit is a local landmark.
