Cottages and waterfront in Brighton
Brighton is about 150 kilometres east of Toronto on Highway 401. Presqu'ile Provincial Park, on a peninsula just south of the town centre, is known for birding and beaches. Presqu'ile Bay, between the peninsula and the mainland, has marinas and waterfront homes around Gosport. The Murray Canal starts at the east end of town and leads to the Bay of Quinte. The town has a high share of retirees and holds Applefest each September.
