Trent Hills was formed in 2001 from Campbellford/Seymour, Percy Township and the village of Hastings. The Trent River runs through it from Hastings to below Campbellford, with locks, dams and wide stretches such as Seymour Lake. Hastings is a busy fishing and boating village at Lock 18. Campbellford has the hospital and main shopping, plus Ferris Provincial Park just south of town. Warkworth is an arts village in the hills.
