What Wellers Bay is like
Wellers Bay is about 8 kilometres long and sits just southwest of Trenton. A narrow sand spit shields it from the open lake. The spit and several islands form a National Wildlife Area that is closed to the public, so that part of the shore will stay undeveloped. Cottages and homes sit on the mainland side around Consecon, Carrying Place and Barcovan Beach. It is calm water with a channel to Lake Ontario.
