What Cameron Lake is like
Cameron Lake lies between Lock 35 at Rosedale and Lock 34 at Fenelon Falls. It is about 6.7 km long and reaches 15 m in places, which is deep for the Kawarthas. The Burnt River flows in from the north, and that steady flow helps keep the water fresh. Fenelon Falls borders the lake, so shops and restaurants are close. Much of the shoreline is built up with cottages and homes.
