What Bay of Quinte is like
The Bay of Quinte runs from Trenton past Belleville to Deseronto, turns south to Picton, then heads east along Adolphus Reach to open Lake Ontario. It is rarely more than two kilometres wide, so it feels more like a big river than a Great Lake. The Trent-Severn Waterway starts at Trenton, and the Murray Canal links the west end to Lake Ontario. Waterfront ranges from city homes to farms and cottages.
- Trophy walleye
- Trent-Severn gateway
- Sheltered boating
Bay of Quinte is in Bancroft & Hastings County. Before you buy on any lake, read Waterfront 101.
