Wellington sits on the Lake Ontario shore at the north end of West Lake. Wellington Rotary Beach is in the village, and a channel through the beach leads to Wellington Harbour. The Millennium Trail, a former rail line, passes through. The main street has restaurants, a farmers market in summer and a small museum. Buyers find village homes within a walk of the water and a few lakefront properties along the main road.
