What Cook's Bay is like
Cook's Bay is the southernmost bay of Lake Simcoe and the part of the lake closest to Toronto. The Holland River and the Maskinonge River flow into it. Keswick, in Georgina, is the largest community on the bay, with lakefront streets, canals and marinas. The west side belongs to Simcoe County. The bay is narrower and more sheltered than the main lake and is well known for yellow perch fishing in both summer and winter.
