East Gwillimbury lies between Newmarket and Georgina. Its main centres are Holland Landing, Queensville, Sharon and Mount Albert. The town has no Lake Simcoe shoreline of its own, but the East Holland River runs north through Holland Landing and River Drive Park toward Cook's Bay. Riverfront homes and cottages there can keep a boat at the dock and travel downstream to the lake. The rest of the town is new subdivisions and farmland.
