Cottages and waterfront in Brock
Brock Township was formed in 1974 and takes in Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland. Beaverton is the largest community and the one on the lake, with a harbour and cottage roads running north and south along the shore through Cedar Beach, Maple Beach and Thorah Beach. Thorah Island, reached by boat, is also part of the township. The Trent-Severn Waterway follows part of the northern boundary near Gamebridge. Cannington and Sunderland are inland farm towns.
