Georgian Bluffs has a long stretch of Georgian Bay shoreline. The west side of Owen Sound bay runs through Balmy Beach toward Kemble and Big Bay, and the north end of the township faces Colpoy's Bay near Oxenden and Wiarton. The shore is mostly rock and cobble under escarpment bluffs, with clear, cold water. Inland, Francis Lake is a quiet cottage lake. Most properties are road access with wells and septic systems.
