Midland sits at the southern end of the Thirty Thousand Islands, on sheltered water in the southeast corner of Georgian Bay. Waterfront choices include harbour condos, homes along Midland Bay and Midland Point, and a few properties on Little Lake. The town is the shopping and hospital centre for the cottage areas of Tiny, Tay and Penetanguishene. Sainte-Marie among the Hurons and the Wye Marsh are local landmarks. Access is year-round by Highway 12 and Highway 93.
