What Sydenham Lake is like
Sydenham Lake starts right in the village of Sydenham, the main service centre for South Frontenac. The Point is a public park and beach on the lake at the edge of the village, and a canoe and kayak regatta is held there each year. The lake drains west into Millhaven Creek, which reaches Lake Ontario at Millhaven. Homes here work well year-round, with schools and shops nearby and Kingston to the south.
