Clearview has no Georgian Bay shoreline, so buyers come for chalets, farms and country homes within a short drive of the beach and the ski hills. The Bruce Trail follows the Niagara Escarpment through the west side of the township, past Devil's Glen and the Nottawasaga Lookout and Noisy River nature reserves. Creemore and Singhampton draw weekenders, while Stayner and Nottawa are closer to Wasaga Beach and Collingwood. Properties outside the villages use wells and septic systems.
